Dear Mr. @Moorthi_RKO,

Don’t confuse with the size of the candles and volume bar… Volume denotes the number of transactions… 1 transaction has 1 buyer and 1 seller… For an example, Anto sells 1 share and Moorthi buys that 1 share and a transaction got completed… Now, at which price we both agreed to complete the trade reflects on the candlestick…

Let’s say 1000 transactions had been done… Meaning, 1000 volume had been marked on volume graph/bar… If all the transactions got done at one single price, let’s say 50 Indian rupees… The candlestick’s OPEN, HIGH, LOW and CLOSE all will be at the marking of INR 50… You’ll see just one flat line at INR 50 as a candlestick but, a huge bar at 1000 count as a volume mark…

In the second scenario, only two transactions are going to be completed… First transaction done at INR 50 and the second transaction got done at INR 100… Now, the candlestick’s O&L will be INR 50 and H&C will be INR 100… Now, the candlestick will look bigger but, the volume bar will look too small with just 2 no of volume marking…

Hope it cleared your question…
